This Standard applies to electric cooking appliances, as defined in Clause 4.1, which are designed for connection to low voltage supply. It applies to electric cooking appliances such as electric ranges, ovens, cooking tables, hotplate hob units, grill boiler units, deep fryers, frypans, rotisserie cookers, cake makers, contact type griddle and toasting plates, waffle irons, some steam pressure cookers, plate and food warmers and grillers. This Standard does not apply to the following:(a) Electric bread toasters within the scope of AS 3101 (NZS/AS 3101).(b) Electric portable immersion heaters within the scope of AS 3104.(c) Electric jugs within the scope of AS 3106.(d) Appliances for heating liquids within the scope of AS 3313/NZS 6315.For the purpose of this Standard, an electric cooking appliance for household use is referred to as an appliance.NOTE: An appliance in the form of a container incorporating a sheathed element with provision for earthing the sheath is within the scope of this Standard even though it may have a non-metallic body and may resemble an electric jug.
La présente partie de l'IEC 60350 définit des méthodes de mesure de l'aptitude à la fonction des cuisinières, des fours, des fours à vapeur et des grils électriques à usage domestique.
IEC 60350-2:2017(E) defines methods for measuring the performance of electric hobs for household use. Appliances covered by this document can be built-in or designed to be placed on a work surface. The hob can also be a part of a cooking range. This document does not apply to portable appliances for cooking, grilling and similar functions (see IEC 61817). This document defines the main performance characteristics of hobs which are of interest to the user and specifies methods for measuring these characteristics. This document does not specify a classification or ranking for performance. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: a) terms and definitions revised and new definitions added (see 3); b) following the new market trend, requirements related to so-called flexible and free induction zones - in this document named as cooking areas - are added; c) specification for standardized and alternative cookware is introduced (see 5.6); d) measurement procedure reflecting a household-like cooking process for measuring the energy consumption is introduced (see Clause 7 and Annex A); e) revision of measurement procedure for determining the accuracy of control (see Clause 8); f) new reproducible measurement procedure for assessing the heat distribution (see Clause 9); g) additional requirements (according to IEC 62301:2011) on how to measure low-power modes.
This Standard is used for EG-inspection tested domestic cooking appliances burning gas according to EN 30-1-1, EN 30-1-2, EN 30-1-3 and EN 30-1-4. It contains requirements and testing the fitness for purpose requirements of hobs, ovens and grills. The definitions apply to all these devices or components, independently of the fact whether they are alone used or are built into a combination, even if parts of this combination are not operated with gaseous fuels (e. g. combined gas electric cookers).
This standard contains requirement for measuring of the energy use from commercial used convection steamers in conjunction with the respective operating methods. This standard also contains a method for the identification of the latent heat.
This standard contains requirement for measuring of the energy use from commercial used Convection ovens. This standard also contains a method for the identification of the direct and latent heat.
This standard contains requirement for measuring of the energy use from commercial used electrical and gas heated multiple deck ovens.
This standard contains requirement for measuring of the energy use from commercial used cooking zones in the catering area.
This standard contains requirement for measuring of the energy use from commercial used Ovens.
IEC 60350-1:2011 specifies methods for measuring the performance of electric cooking ranges, ovens, steam ovens, and grills for household use. The ovens covered by this standard may be with or without microwave function. Manufacturers should define the pr
