1.1 This specification cover nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloys (UNS N06110)3 in the form of cold-worked seamless pipe and tube in the conditions shown in Table 1. 1.2 Hot-worked material is available. Properties and permissible tolerances are to be agreed upon between the manufacturer and purchaser.1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The SI units in parentheses are provided for information only. The following precautionary caveat pertains only to the test method portion, Section 8, of this specification: This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to become familiar with all hazards including those identified in the appropriate Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product/material as provide by the manufacturer, to establish appropriate safety and health practices, and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
This International Standard specifies the general, and some of the special, requirements on materials used for the construction of equipment used in gas welding, cutting and allied processes.
This European Standard specifies minimum requirements concerning material, design, construction and workmanship, manufacturing processes and testing of refillable transportable welded stainless steel gas cylinders of water capacities from 0,51 up to and including 1501 for compressed, liquefied and dissolved gases. This standard is only applicable to cylinders manufactured from stainless steels having a maximum tensile strength of less than 1 100 MPa.For acetylene service, additional requirements for the cylinder and the basic requirements for the porous mass are given in EN 1800.This standard is primarily for industrial gases other than LPG but may also be applied for LPG.
This part of ISO 13628 specifies requirements and gives recommendations for the design, material selection, manufacture, design verification, testing, installation and operation of umbilicals and associated ancillary equipment for the petroleum and natural gas industries. Ancillary equipment does not include topside hardware. Topside hardware refers to any hardware that is not permanently attached to the umbilical, above the topside hang-off termination. This part of ISO 13628 applies to umbilicals containing components, such as electrical cables, optical fibres, thermoplastic hoses and metallic tubes, either alone or in combination. This part of ISO 13628 applies to umbilicals for static or dynamic service, with surface-surface, surface-subsea and subsea-subsea routings. This part of ISO 13628 does not apply to the associated component connectors, unless they affect the performance of the umbilical or that of its ancillary equipment. This part of ISO 13628 applies only to tubes with the following dimensions: wall thickness, t < 6 mm, internal diameter, ID < 50,8 mm (2 in). Tubular products greater than these dimensions can be regarded as pipe/linepipe and it is expected that they be designed and manufactured according to a recognised pipeline/linepipe standard.
This British Standard specifies the characteristics of, and performancerequirements for, the tube connector (compression) end(s) of twin ferruleconnectors made of 316 stainless steel. It also specifies requirementsfor 316 stainless steel tubes. The twin ferrule connectors in this standard are suitable for use with annealedstainless steel tubes with outside diameters from 2 mm to 38 mm and1/16 in to 2 in.This British Standard is applicable to twin ferrule connectors that are intendedfor the connection of plain end tubes to other tubes and to ports in accordancewith BS EN ISO 6149-1, BS EN ISO 1179 and BS EN ISO 9974-1, and other portsagreed between the purchaser and manufacturer. It provides external envelope,tube-end-to-tube-end and tube-end-to-port dimensions that facilitate designingsystems that use twin ferrule connectors.NOTE These twin ferrule connectors can also be used with other austenitic stainlesssteel tubes, typically 304, 316L, 321, etc.
