本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)規(guī)定了光伏電站太陽跟蹤系統(tǒng)(以下簡稱跟蹤系統(tǒng))的外觀、支架結(jié)構(gòu)、驅(qū)動(dòng)裝置、控制系統(tǒng)、安裝、可靠性、環(huán)境適應(yīng)性等技術(shù)要求及試驗(yàn)方法,以及對于檢驗(yàn)規(guī)則、標(biāo)志、包裝、運(yùn)輸和儲(chǔ)存的技術(shù)要求。本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)適用于光伏電站的平板式和聚光式太陽跟蹤系統(tǒng)。

This International Standard establishes requirements for the design qualification of balanceof-system (BOS) components used in terrestrial photovoltaic (PV) systems. This standard issuitable for operation in indoor, conditioned or unconditioned; or outdoor in general open-airclimates as defined in IEC 60721-2-1, protected or unprotected. It is written for dedicatedsolar components such as batteries, inverters, charge controllers, system diode packages,heat sinks, surge protectors, system junction boxes, maximum power point tracking devicesand switch gear, but may be applicable to other BOS system components.This standard is based on that which is specified in IEC 61215 and IEC 61646 for the designqualification of PV modules. However, changes have been made to account for the specialfeatures of the balance-of-system components, and to add different levels of severity for thedifferent service environments. Dust, fungus, insects, shipping vibration and shock, andprotection class have been added to the appropriate environmental categories. The high andlow temperature and humidity limits have also been modified for the appropriate serviceenvironments.This standard does not apply to photovoltaic modules. These are covered by IEC 61215 orIEC 61646. Also, this standard does not apply to concentrator modules or to complete PVsystems. Specific electrical safety aspects are not part of this standard.This standard is applicable to lead-acid and nickel-cadmium cells and batteries. Otherelectrochemical storage systems will be included when they become available.The object of this test sequence is to determine the performance characteristics of each BOScomponents and to show, as far as possible within reasonable constraints of cost and time,that the component is capable of maintaining this performance after exposure to the simulatedservice natural environmental conditions for which it is intended to be applicable as specifiedby the manufacturer. The actual life expectancy of components so qualified will depend ontheir design, their environment and the system conditions under which they are operated.
