1.1 These requirements apply to controls that employ solid-state devices and are intended for specified safety-related protective functions. 1.2 These requirements address the potential risks unique to the electronic nature of a control. Equipment or components employing an electronic feature shall also comply with the basic construction and performance requirements contained in the applicable end-product or component standard. These requirements are intended to supplement applicable end-product or component standards and are not intended to serve as the sole basis for investigating the risks of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons associated with a control. 1.3 These requirements do not cover controls covered by end-product standards in which an electronic control investigation is specified. 1.4 Sections 9 - 22 contain standardized test methods for investigating the performance of an electronic control when subjected to particular environmental stresses. The suitability of each test to a given control shall be determined by the end-product standard(s). Determination shall include an assessment of: a) Whether the control will be exposed to a particular environmental stress in its application, and b) Whether the response of the control to a particular environmental stress is relevant to its intended safety-related protective function in its application.
This test method is intended for testing the porcelain enamel finish on oven parts of self-cleaning ranges. The numerical values and visual evaluation derived by this test method are used to measure differences in heat resistant characteristics between enamel formulas intended to meet oven manufacturer specifications.1.1 This test method covers the procedure for the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of static heat effects on porcelain enamel coatings.1.2 This test method is adaptable to various temperatures and times, since the requirements in the porcelain enameling industry differ between manufacturers. This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.

This European Standard defines the characteristics, properties and classification of coated glass for use in building.Test methods and procedures used to establish durability are in Parts 2 and 3 of this standard.Factory production control and evaluation of conformity, including Annex ZA, are in Part 4 of this standard.Test methods for determination of self cleaning performances of coated glass are in Part 5.This standard applies to coated glass for glazing application for use in normally occupied domestic or commercial premises. This standard is not applicable to:- adhesive backed polymeric films on glass (prEN 15755-1); mirrors made from silvered float glass (EN 1036-1) enamelled glass
This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods related to artificial weathering and abrasion of coatings on glass for use in buildings. These tests are aimed at evaluating the resistance of the coating to attack by simulated natural weathering conditions as well as to abrasion. This attack can be considered as representative of that which could be found on the external and/or internal face of the glazing. This European Standard applies to Class A, B and S coatings, as described in EN 1096-1.
This European Standard specifies requirements and a test method related to resistance to solar radiation for coated glass for use in buildings. This test is aimed at evaluating if the exposure to solar radiation over an extended period of time produces any appreciable change in light transmittance and solar transmittance of the coated glass as well as a reduction of the infrared reflectance in the case of low emissivity coatings. This European Standard applies to Class C and D coatings as defined in EN 1096-1 and used in insulating glass units.
The standard supports the Machine Directive. It covers centrifugal machines used singularly or as part of plants for processing edible oils and fats. Machines for household purposes are not covered by the project.
The standard applies for definitions of the essential terms in the field of the collection, transport, treatment, discharge (and reuse) of wastewater and in the field of sludge treatment, utilization and disposal. For the preparation or revision of all standards within the field of wastewater this document provides the general basis for the terms and definitions.
This part of ISO 5667 sets out the principles to be applied to the design of sampling programmes, sampling techniques, and the handling of water samples from rivers and streams for physical and chemical assessment. It is not applicable to the sampling of estuarine or coastal waters nor for microbiological sampling. This part of ISO 5667 is neither applicable to the examination of sediment, suspended solids or biota, nor to dammed stretches of rivers or streams. Also, it is not applicable to passive sampling of surface waters (see ISO 5667-23). In cases where naturally occurring or artificially constructed dams result in the retention or storage of water for several days or more, the stretch of the river or stream should be considered as a standing water body and sampled according to ISO 5667-4.
