Specifies the widths to be used in the respective product standards; it sets out a logical ratio between underhead (or nut) bearing area and the tensile stress area of the screw thread.
This International Standard specifies tolerances on wrench and socket openings for screws and nuts (or similar parts) having metric width across flats dimensions, as shown diagrammatically below. It gives, for each dimension, the tolerances for general use, defined by its two deviations, minimum and maximum, with respect to the nominal value. These deviations have been determined in relation to the width across flats tolerances for screws and nuts specified in ISO 4759-1 and with regard to the manufacture of tightening tools.
Specifies the dimensions for seven nominal sizes. This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition (1985), which has been technically revised (addition of round drill steels and extension of the range of sizes).
Specifies the dimensions of both forged collared shanks and corresponding chuck bushings. Values are given for five nominal sizes. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (1974), which has been technically revised (extension of the range of sizes and specification of the size of the internal diameter at the forged collar).
This International Standard specifies the full range of the nominal dimensions of product-grade-A and -C plain washers for general-purpose bolts, screws and nuts of nominal thread diameters ranging from 1 mm to 150 mm inclusive. This International Standard is not applicable to washers for screw and washer assemblies in relation to hole diameters and thicknesses.Information on the use of plain washers is given in annex A.
This standard is about Plain washers for metric bolts, screws and nuts for general purposes - General plan; Technical Corrigendum 1
This document specifies the size pairing of double-ended wrenches with unequal nominal widths across flats. NOTE The wrenches covered by this document are those identified in ISO 1703:2005 under reference nos. 1 1 01 02 0, 1 1 02 03 0, 1 1 02 04 0, 1 1 02 05 0, 1 1 02 06 0, 1 1 02 08 0.
This International Standard specifies the dimensions and torque testing of drive ends for hand- and machine-operated screwdriver bits as well as to driving spindles of screw driving machines. It ensures the interchangeability of tool bits and tool holders. This International Standard defines only the distinctive features of individual drive ends. Details of design, e.g. of fixing devices, are left to the user of this International Standard.
Specifies the dimensions and designation of driving squares for power socket tools.
This document specifies hardness and minimum torsional strength for machine-operated square drive sockets in accordance with ISO 2725-2 intended for use with impact wrenches. EXAMPLE Reference nos. 2 2 02 01 0; 2 2 02 02 0; 5 2 00 04 0. NOTE The sockets mentioned above are listed under their respective reference numbers in ISO 1703.
This International Standard specifies the maximum electrical resistance of antistatic endless V-ribbed belts, joined V-belts, and single V-belts including wide section belts and hexagonal belts,as well as corresponding production control and individual proof methods of measurements. The application of this International Standard is limited to new belts intended to be used in an explosive atmosphere or in situations where there is a fire risk. The test is intended to ensure that the belt is sufficiently conductive to dissipate charges of electricity which can form on it in service.
This part of ISO 1927 gives guidance on the sampling of\nmonolithic (unshaped) refractory materials for the purpose of\ninspection and testing for quality and general information on the\nreduction and treatment of samples prior to testing. It covers all\nmaterials formulated as monolithic refractory materials.\nNOTE The term \"monolithic\" is the preferred term, whereas\n\"unshaped\" is commonly used in Europe. For the purposes of this\npart of ISO 1927, the terms \"monolithic\" and \"unshaped\" can be used\ninterchangeably.
This part of ISO 1927 specifies methods for the determination of\nproperties of unshaped materials from test pieces prepared and\nstored according to ISO 1927-5.\nThe methods are applicable to dense and insulating castables and\nto ramming materials (including plastics) as defined in ISO 1927-1\nbefore and after firing.
