本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)適用于為包括服裝和鞋類、皮革制品、襯衫、襪類和針織品、內(nèi)衣、手套、室內(nèi)裝飾和包裝業(yè)、修鞋等行業(yè)的(工業(yè)、商業(yè)或試驗(yàn))用途而設(shè)計的縫紉機(jī)、縫紉單元和縫紉系統(tǒng),本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)為此類縫紉機(jī)、縫紉單元和縫紉系統(tǒng)認(rèn)定了存在的危險,規(guī)定了相應(yīng)的安全要求。 本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)不考慮此類機(jī)器在其他行業(yè)中使用和維護(hù)時可能產(chǎn)生的危險。 本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的安全要求適用于在干燥、管理良好、整潔的環(huán)境中加工干燥縫料的機(jī)器。對不在干燥、管 理良好、整潔的環(huán)境中使用的縫紉機(jī)、縫紉單元和縫紉系統(tǒng),應(yīng)有更嚴(yán)格的安全措施:例如,裝外殼以提高防護(hù)等級(IP 代碼——參見GB 4208)。 本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)旨在幫助制造商在設(shè)計機(jī)器時就考慮降低或消除本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)規(guī)定的用途和維護(hù)中所產(chǎn)生危險的風(fēng)險。4.2~4.8列出了與重大危險和危險情況相對應(yīng)的安全要求和措施。重大危險是指那些被認(rèn)定且評估為需要采取措施以降低風(fēng)險的危險。 本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)不適用于步進(jìn)移動機(jī)身類縫紉機(jī)、鞋底縫紉機(jī)和符合ISO 11111的大飛梭繡花機(jī)、屬于GB 16655范圍內(nèi)的集成縫紉系統(tǒng)或符合GB 4706.74的家用縫紉機(jī)。 注:當(dāng)家用縫紉機(jī)用于用途時,則有必要按本標(biāo)準(zhǔn)要求采取相關(guān)措施(例如,使用護(hù)指裝置)。

This International Standard identifies hazards and specifies safety requirements applicable to sewingmachines, sewing units and sewing systems designed for professional (industrial, commercial or laboratory)use in industries including the clothing and footwear, leather goods, shirts and blousery, hosiery and knitwear,lingerie, glove, upholstery and packaging industries, and in shoe repair.The information on use and maintenance of such machines in other industries could give rise to hazards notconsidered in this International Standard.The requirements of this International Standard are applicable to machinery installed in dry and well-kept,clean locations and processing dry sewing material. Where the sewing machines, sewing units or sewingsystems are used in other than dry and well-kept, clean locations, more stringent measures could benecessary: for example, the higher degree of protection provided by enclosures (IP code — see IEC 60529).The purpose of this International Standard is to assist the manufacturer to design machinery such that therisks arising from its defined, intended use and maintenance are reduced or eliminated. The significanthazards and hazardous situations are given together with a reference to the corresponding safety requirementor measure in 4.2 to 4.8.
