This part of DIN EN 62047 defines terms for micro-electromechanical devices including the process of production of such devices.
This standard applies to nonelectric, handheld power tools intended to be used in operation by one person using one or both hands, where the weight of the power tools is supported by the operator or by a harness or suspended e. g. by a balancer. The power tools are driven by rotary or linear motors powered by compressed air, hydraulic fluid, gaseous or liquid fuel or stored energy (e. g. by a spring). Electrically driven tools are not included. The standard lists the significant hazards caused by handheld power tools.
The standard contains general rules for a professional production of metallic, metall-ceramic, oxid-ceramic and synthetic material coatings on metallic and non-metallic substrate materials applied by thermal spraying.
This EN ISO Standard specifies the requirements and/or measures to eliminate the hazards or reduce the risks in the following groups of stationary grinding machines which are designed primarily to shape metal by grinding: Group 1: Manually controlled grinding machines without power operated axes and without numerical control Group 2: Manually controlled grinding machines with power operated axes and limited numerically controlled capability, if applicable Group 3: Numerically controlled grinding machines NOTE 1 For detailed information on the groups of grinding machines, see the definitions in 3.1 and 3.4. NOTE 2 Requirements in this EN ISO Standard are, in general, applicable to all groups of grinding machines. If requirements are applicable to some special group(s) of grinding machines only, then the special group(s) of grinding machine(s) is/are specified. NOTE 3 Hazards arising from other metalworking processes (e. g. turning and laser processing) are covered by other Standards
This part of ISO 10407 specifies the required inspection for each level of inspection (Tables B.1 through B.15)and procedures for the inspection and testing of used drill stem elements. For the purpose of this part ofISO 10407, drill stem elements include drill pipe body, tool joints, rotary-shouldered connections, drill collar,HWDP and the ends of drill stem elements that make up with them. This part of ISO 10407 has been preparedto address the practices and technology commonly used in inspection. The practices established within this part of ISO 10407 are intended as inspection and/or testing guidance andare not intended to be interpreted to prohibit the agency or owner from using personal judgement, supplementing the inspection with other techniques, extending existing techniques or re-inspecting certainlengths. This part of ISO 10407 specifies the qualification of inspection personnel, a description of inspection methodsand apparatus calibration and standardization procedures for various inspection methods. The evaluation ofimperfections and the marking of inspected drill stem elements is included. This part of ISO 10407 provides the original equipment manufacturers' requirements regarding the minimuminformation needed for the inspection of their specialized tools in Annex A.
