These requirements cover pigtails and flexible hose connectors used in the assembly of liquefied petroleum gas (LP-gas) fuel supply equipment utilizing cylinders constructed in accordance with Department of Transportation Specifications or ASME tanks, for making connection between parts of the equipment, or between the equipment and the service piping. LP-gas equipment with which these connectors are to be used is intended to be installed in accordance with the Standard of the National Fire Protection Association for the Storage and Handling of Liqufied Petroleum Gases, ANSI/NFPA 58.
